Rhino Rack Watersport Carriers Review - 2014 nissan maxima

Today on our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we have our Rhino Rack J Style Kayak Carrier. Part number S510. These j-hooks will hold up to 100lbs, just in case you get a more heavy duty kayak. We have 4 straps holding this place. Usually we would take the strap to a place on the front where there's a metal hook or a metal place we can attach to but we don't have that on this vehicle. What we did is open the hood slide our padded piece in as close to our hinge as possible. more

Swagman Watersport Carriers Review - 2014 Nissan Maxima

Today on our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman Contour J-Style Rooftop Kayak Carrier, part number S65148. All of the straps that you see here are included when you buy the J hooks. The first thing we want to do is take off our balancer and straps. You can tie them up however you like, just make sure that you do find a secure place underneath the vehicle, a piece of metal and not on the plastic. We'll take these off and set them off to the side. Same thing with the back. You want to find a secure spot and tie up the excess however you need to. more

Inno Watersport Carriers Review - 2014 Nissan Maxima

Today on our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we're doing a test fit of the Inno BoardLocker surfboard carrier. Part Number INA744. We already have the front half of our carrier on. We're going to show you how we load those up and then we'll show you how to load up your surfboard. The first thing we do is slide on our carrier and line those up the best we can. Then we'll take our plastic piece, fit that around our crossbar and see if that'll lock down. Seems to be a bit too tight so we'll loosen it with our knob here down at the bottom. more
